Kūpuna Care Program Services

Our kūpuna (elders) are one of our most cherished resources and it is our kuleana (responsibility) to mālama (care for) them. The Nā Puʻuwai Kūpuna Care Program offers a variety of resources to include: Adult Day Care, Attendant Care Services, Chore Services, Homemaker Services, Personal Care Services and In-Home Respite Services. 

Providing day care services to older adults in a caring, safe, and secure environment!

Provide hands-off, standby assistance, supervision, or cues, and may include other activities to help maintain the independence of older adults.

This service is contracted with MCOA.

Provide aid with heavy housework such as cleaning the living room, kitchen, bathroom, cabinets, closets, walls, windows, screens, floors (sweep, vacuum, mop) decluttering and organizing, and/or packing to move or store items.

This service is contracted with MCOA.

Provide aid as needed with use of the telephone and basic housekeeping such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, kitchen cleaning, bathroom cleaning, laundry, changing linen, making beds, emptying trash, and light meal preparation.

This service is contracted with MCOA.

Assist participants with standby assistance, companionship, assist with hands-on care such as bathing, grooming, hygiene, toileting, feeding, range of motion, services.

This service is contracted with MCOA.

Offers temporary relief to primary caregivers to have personal time away from the everyday stresses and duties of being a caregiver. This service combines Attendance Care, Chore, Homemaker and Personal Care.
